How we compare tools (method and sources)
Published · By IndexChex
Every competitor fact on this site comes from the vendor's own official pages, is recorded with the source URL, a verbatim quote and the date checked, and is labelled as a vendor statement. No vendor pays for placement. The publisher, IndexChex, is disclosed on every comparison page, and corrections go to support@indexchex.com.
This page explains how the comparison table, the alternatives pages and the head-to-head pages are built, so readers can judge the data and check it themselves.
Who publishes this site
IndexChex publishes this site and sells one of the tools compared. That interest is stated near the top of every comparison page and on the IndexChex profile. We do not describe IndexChex as the best or rank tools; the pages set facts side by side and note who each tool suits.
Where the facts come from
- Official pages only. Prices, refund terms, speed claims, indexing claims, API availability and interfaces are read from each vendor's own website: home, pricing, FAQ and API documentation pages. We do not use review sites, forum posts, affiliate pages or screenshots supplied by third parties.
- Quote and date. For each value we record the source URL, the verbatim text that supports it and the date it was checked. The current data set was checked on 2026-10-08. Every dollar or percentage figure on a page lists its source and date in the page metadata.
- Vendor states. A speed or indexing rate published by a vendor is reported as that vendor's claim. We have not run a common test across tools, so we do not present any competitor rate as verified.
- Gaps stay gaps. If a vendor does not publish a figure, the table says "not published." We do not estimate or infer missing prices, rates or policies.
- Conflicts are shown. Where a vendor publishes two different price lists, as GigaIndexer did on its home and credits pages, both are recorded and the range covers both.
How per-URL prices are calculated
Per-URL price is the package price divided by the URLs it covers in standard mode, given for the cheapest and most expensive public tier. Sale prices are labelled as such. For quota plans such as Links Indexer, a per-link figure would depend on how much of the quota is used, so the plan price is shown instead.
The pricing basis is always stated. Tools that refund unindexed links (SpeedyIndex, Rapid URL Indexer, Omega Indexer, IndexMeNow) effectively charge per indexed URL. IndexChex charges per submitted URL, so when we compare the two bases we divide its price by its average standard-mode indexation of 85%+ and show the arithmetic.
How IndexChex figures are treated
IndexChex facts come from its published pricing, policies and specifications. Its performance figures are weekly IndexChex measurements on recurring URL sets, reported as averages with the date (October 2026). They are the publisher's own measurements, not independent tests, and are labelled that way. See the evidence site's claims and sources register.
How often data is refreshed
Vendor pricing changes without notice, so every value keeps the date it was last confirmed rather than the date the page was edited. When a full re-check is run, all tools are read again on the same day, so the table always reflects one consistent snapshot. A reader who finds a newer price on a vendor page should trust the vendor page and let us know.
What we will not do
- Accept payment, affiliate commission or free credits for inclusion or placement.
- Publish ratings, scores, testimonials or rankings for any tool.
- Claim a tool is cheapest or fastest without a dated, sourced table on the same page.
- Present competitor rates as tested.
Corrections
Vendors and readers can send corrections to support@indexchex.com with the page, the value and a link to the official page that supports the change. Verified corrections are applied with a new check date. The tools covered, and why each is on the list, are described in the alternatives to SpeedyIndex and other alternatives pages; general questions are answered in the comparison FAQ.
